College football is losing some legit talent to the NFL at the wide receiver position. If you just consider Alabama and Ohio State, four 1st-2nd round WR’s gone. As players leave, that opens up room for new college fantasy football blood in elite offenses. We’re ranking the best wide receivers in the 2022 college fantasy football season.

Many college football teams have spring practice underway (spring game and practice dates link) and we’re launching our first edition of 2022 college fantasy football rankings!
The focus zeroes in on the best college football running backs for fantasy football in 2022. This is yet another position that is loaded with transfer portal movement – and some that are still somewhere in that portal without their destination.
We’ve got some known commodities at the top – which will likely result in the 1st and 2nd draft picks in many college fantasy football drafts (also shown in our mock drafts). Bijan Robinson (Texas) and Treveyon Henderson (Ohio State) are the majority consensus #1 and #2.

It’s time for our pre-spring college fantasy football rankings! The transfer portal has settled down as some teams have started spring football practice. There will be some more portal movement but it’s most likely to happen late April and May when spring games are wrapping up.
The confidence meter is really solid on some of the top returning quarterbacks this season. Consider some of the known commodities going into fantasy football drafts – CJ Stroud, Bryce Young, Malik Cunningham, and Grayson McCall – just to name a few. In standard re-draft leagues, you’ll be able to wait and still land a really solid QB.

Randy Moss comes in at number 11. Dez Bryant, Tavon Austin, Torry Holt, Nate Burleson, and so many other great players make this list – but the #1 player (also 6th!) is Troy Edwards from Louisiana Tech!
One of the most surprising things was the number of prior-decade seasons that ranked really high, despite the recent trend of passing offenses in the last 7-8 seasons.
How the List was Created
We compiled all of the data from 1980 up through the 2021 season for wide receivers – inclusive of rushing data.
We then used a formula to calculate fantasy points based on their actual numbers.
The wide receivers are sorted by fantasy points per game to minimize the impact of the number of games played in a season. We did set a minimum number of games to filter out some players that may have only played 5 games in a season.
The Scoring System
Rushing Yards: 1 point for every 10 yards
Rushing Touchdowns: 6 points
Receiving Yards: 1 points for every 10 yards
Receptions: 0.5 PPR
Receiving Touchdowns: 6 points
*Players were ranked by fantasy points per game with some other qualifiers

Just a week after unveiling the Top 300 Quarterback Seasons in history, we are ready to showcase the Top 500 College Fantasy Football Running Back Seasons of All-Time!
We’ve got some great names in our list including Bo Jackson, Barry Sanders, Reggie Bush, and so many more!
Unlike the Quarterback rankings, the top of the list isn’t littered with players from the last 10 years as the passing game has continued to steal from running backs. Additionally, the dreaded running back by committee approach has also diminished running back performance.

Bailey Zappe compiled some tremendous numbers during the 2021 college football season, the Western Kentucky QB finished with 62 touchdowns and just under 6,000 passing yards. This got us thinking - where would Zappe's 2021 season rank all-time?
The answer turned out to be 10th! Here's how we know.
We compiled all of the top 110ish quarterback performances of every season from 2021 back to 1980, capturing all of the seasons in between Georgia's last two national championships.

Matt, Danny, and Brian discuss the top transfers of the 2021 college football season and how each individual will impact college fantasy football.
They also address the following questions:
* Who do you think is going to have the biggest FANTASY IMPACT on their new team and why?
* Who do you see as the ‘under the radar’ player that transferred?
* Who is out there that’s still in the portal (has not committed yet) that you are keeping your eyes on?
* Is there a player that transferred that you think will cloud the fantasy outlook for a school / position
